Meet Terri, Your Massage Therapist

Terri (she/her) is a Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for movement and fitness. Having just over two years under her belt, this young therapist is eager to take on the tough cases and figure out what may be causing your dysfunction.

By analyzing day-to-day activities, along with postural tendencies, she looks to identify and improve muscle function through Swedish massage techniques. Muscle tightness, fascial restrictions and trigger points can cause pain and suboptimal performance which is why Terri deems herself the trigger point queen. Although it may be painful, trigger point therapy is not only satisfying to the patient but also feels like a treasure hunt for this therapist.

Terri grew up in Pubnico, NS where she spent her days on the basketball court. This also happened to be the first place she suffered any form of injury, and definitely would not be the last. She then attended Acadia University and pursued a Bachelor of Kinesiology with only a few concussions to make things a bit more difficult. In saying that, she has a personal understanding of the long lasting effects of concussion, muscle strains/sprains, MVAs and many other common injuries. With two years of experience in treating a variety of conditions, she feels confident in helping with whatever you may have going on. Terri enjoys treating alongside other practitioners and believes in a multi-disciplinary approach to healing. She wants to work with you, the patient, in finding a way to keep your body moving pain-free so that you can get back to the activities that make you happy!

In her spare time, Terri enjoys spending time outside with her partner Alisha and puppy Nellie. Aside from that, she enjoys lifting weights, drinking coffee, and trips to HomeSense. In September of 2022, she will begin her studies in osteopathy to further build on her knowledge.
